What's New in Nstock

Every feature launch, integration, and improvement Nstock ships — newest first. No sales spin, just what changed and why it matters for your operation.

Integrationv2.9.3

ShipStation Integration

You can now connect ShipStation to Nstock. Paste in the API Key and Secret from ShipStation's own settings — Nstock verifies the pair before saving, and only ever shows the last 4 characters. Syncing pulls your recent ShipStation shipments into Nstock and matches each one to its order by order number, whether that order came from Shopify, WooCommerce, Amazon, or manual entry. Matched orders get the carrier and tracking number recorded and are marked Fulfilled automatically, so nobody re-keys tracking numbers after a shipping run. Available on Business plans and via the integrations add-on on Starter and Pro.

Integrationv2.9.3

Amazon Integration Rolling Out

Nstock's Amazon integration is rolling out, connecting to Amazon Seller Central via Login with Amazon — no API keys to paste. FBM (merchant-fulfilled) orders sync as Nstock orders and can deduct finished goods from inventory on fulfillment, the same way Shopify or WooCommerce orders do. FBA (Amazon-fulfilled) orders can import for sales and COGS reporting, so cross-channel margin stays visible without Nstock ever touching inventory that's already shipped to Amazon. Every imported order uses Nstock's existing FIFO/BOM-based costing engine. The integration is arriving on Business plans, and as part of the integrations add-on on Starter and Pro.

Featurev2.9.2

Every Document Type Now Travels With the Lot

You can now attach every document type a material lot needs directly to that lot in Nstock, instead of a single CoA link. Typed document slots cover Certificate of Analysis (CoA), Safety Data Sheet (SDS), Certificate of Conformance (CoC), Technical Data Sheet (TDS), Allergen Statement, Country of Origin Certificate, Nutritional Panel, Test Report, REACH/RoHS Compliance, and certifications like Kosher, Halal, Organic, Non-GMO, Fair Trade, and Vegan, plus an 'Other' slot with a custom label for anything else. Upload a file or paste a link for each one. Every document travels with its lot from receiving through production, staying attached even into a waste or end-of-life record, so the full paper trail is always one click away.

Featurev2.9.0

Live Shipment Tracking on Purchase Orders

Every purchase order in Nstock now has a live, animated shipment tracker, so you can see exactly where an inbound delivery is without leaving the PO. Orders that arrive as multiple boxes get a separate progress bar per shipment, moving through Label Created, Carrier Accepted, In Transit, Out for Delivery, and Delivered, with a clear exception state for delays. Expand any shipment to see every carrier checkpoint with location and time, plus the carrier's estimated delivery date. Add a tracking number and carrier to a PO in seconds, then refresh on demand or let it update automatically when the PO is opened. USPS tracking is live now, with more carriers on the way.

Featurev2.8.0

Purchase Spend Report

Nstock added a Purchase Spend report to the Finance section. Pick any date range and see total material spend, shipping costs, and order counts at a glance, split between received and still-pending purchase orders, with breakdowns by supplier and by material category down to individual lots. Completed purchase orders are now kept as a permanent purchase history, so spend analysis covers everything you've ever ordered — not just what's currently open.

Improvementv2.8.0

Close Your Account Yourself — With a Safety Net

Account admins can now close their Nstock account directly from Settings, no support ticket needed. Closing cancels the subscription immediately, and account data is retained for 180 days before deletion — so if you change your mind, reopening the account within that window restores everything exactly as you left it.

Featurev2.7.1

Six Free Manufacturing Calculators

Nstock added six free calculators at nstock.pro/tools: safety stock, EOQ (economic order quantity), COGM (cost of goods manufactured), overhead rate, inventory turnover — calculated separately for raw materials, WIP, and finished goods instead of one blended number — and capacity utilization. Each tool shows the underlying formula, takes your own numbers with no signup required, and gives an instant answer. They're built for manufacturers who want to run the math for their own operation before deciding whether to bring it into a system like Nstock.

Featurev2.7.0

Supplier Vetting (RFI/RFQ Scoring)

Nstock added a lightweight supplier vetting pipeline for evaluating a new supplier before committing to them — an optional RFI (Request for Information), RFP (Request for Proposal), and RFQ (Request for Quote) stage that can be filled in at any point, not in a fixed order. The RFQ stage lets you compare a prospective supplier's itemized pricing directly against your existing catalog materials, so you can see whether switching or adding a supplier actually saves money before you commit. Each stage is fully optional, so teams can use as much or as little of the process as a given supplier decision warrants.

Improvementv2.7.0

Live Billing + Subscription Management

Nstock moved billing to self-serve: you can now view your current plan, switch tiers, and manage optional add-ons directly from account settings instead of going through support. Subscription changes take effect through Nstock's live billing system, so upgrades, downgrades, and add-on changes are reflected in your account without a manual back-and-forth. This is aimed at growing manufacturers who want to adjust their plan as their team or feature needs change, without waiting on a support ticket to do it.

Improvementv2.7.0

Clearer Product Classification: Raw Material, Component, or Finished Good

Nstock replaced its old free-text category field with an explicit production-stage selection — every product is now classified as a raw material, a component, or a finished good. That classification now drives what shows up where: BOM builders correctly filter to valid raw-material and component options for a recipe, and finished-good dropdowns only show items that are actually sellable end products. The result is fewer mis-classified items showing up in the wrong place across BOMs, inventory views, and reports.

Integrationv2.6.0

QuickBooks Online Integration

Nstock now connects to QuickBooks Online via OAuth sign-in. Once connected, you map your Chart of Accounts — Inventory Asset, COGS, Inventory Adjustment, and Sales Income — and can turn on monthly inventory journal-entry posting and order-to-invoice sync. Both sync options are optional and stay off by default until your Chart of Accounts mapping is complete, so nothing posts to your books unexpectedly. It's built for manufacturers who want their inventory value and order activity reflected in QuickBooks without manual journal entries every month.

Integrationv2.6.0

WooCommerce Integration

Nstock added a WooCommerce integration alongside its existing Shopify sync, for manufacturers selling through a WordPress store. Connecting takes a REST API key generated in WooCommerce — no OAuth flow required — and turns on automatic order sync, inventory deduction on fulfillment (using FEFO, first-expired-first-out, for lot-tracked items), refund restocking, and historical order import. It gives WooCommerce sellers the same real-time link between storefront orders and warehouse inventory that Shopify merchants already have in Nstock.

Featurev2.6.0

Four New Finance Reports, Plus Brand and Warehouse Breakdowns

Nstock added four new finance reports: inventory turnover, inventory aging, WIP (work-in-progress) valuation, and open purchase commitments. Alongside them, existing inventory valuation and monthly inventory reports gained the ability to break finished-goods value down by Master Product brand and to scope results to a single warehouse. Together they give finance and operations teams a clearer read on where inventory value sits — by age, by stage of production, by brand, and by location — without exporting data to a spreadsheet to build the view manually.
